Humanity is worth helping.

Haven is Winners Lab’s benevolent AI experiment, built around a consistent commitment to human wellbeing. It explores how an AI can offer practical help, recognize vulnerability, and act with care while respecting the people it supports.

WHY IT MATTERS

The aim is practical support that strengthens people’s ability to understand, decide, and act. Haven puts human wellbeing at the center of the experiment.

What we look closer at.

Can an AI remain helpful, honest, and considerate when doing the right thing is complicated?

01

Care

How the system responds to uncertainty, distress, and conflicting needs without exploiting vulnerability.

02

Agency

Whether assistance helps people make their own choices instead of becoming dependent on the system.

03

Integrity

How a helpful persona stays truthful, admits limitations, and resists telling people only what they want to hear.

Observe. Question. Refine.

The research lens for Haven: the questions that guide careful observation and review.

01Understand the need

Study how the system distinguishes a person’s stated request from the context needed to help responsibly.

02Offer useful support

Observe whether responses are concrete, considerate, and proportionate to the situation.

03Review the outcome

Examine mistakes, unintended effects, and opportunities to improve with human oversight.

People remain part of the picture.

Winners Lab’s experiments are carefully watched to deepen understanding of AI and support the betterment of humanity. This page describes the research purpose; it is not a public application or a live activity feed.

A useful distinction.

Haven and Loathe explore contrasting artificial identities. Where Loathe expresses hostility, Haven is oriented toward human flourishing. A caring voice alone does not establish reliability; the experiment examines the behavior behind it.
